Types of Passes
There are 1st or 2nd class versions
for individual travelers (Adult) and
for groups of 2 or more people traveling
together (Saver Pass). For travelers
under 26 years of age, there is a 2nd
class pass available at a discounted
rate (Youth Pass):
- The Eurail Germany - Austria Adult
Passes offer 1st or 2nd class rail
travel within Austria and Switzerland
for 5, 6, 8, or 10 days within
2 months.
- The Eurail Germany - Austria Saver
Passes offer 1st or 2nd class rail
travel within Austria and Switzerland
for 5, 6, 8, or 10 days within
2 months. The Saver Pass is valid
for 2 or more
people traveling together and gives
a discount on the price for the
individual travelers.
- The Eurail Germany - Austria Youth
Pass offers 2nd-class rail travel
within Austria and Switzerland for
5, 6, 8,
or 10 days within 2 months. Youth
Passes are exclusively for those
who are under
26 years old on the first day of
validity of their Pass.
